Ovidiu Slimac, Correct Procurement
Ovidiu Slimac

Correct Procurement (Achiziții Corecte) was born from a simple belief: public procurement can be fair, efficient and understood by everyone involved. Public money deserves to be spent with care, and companies taking part in tenders deserve clear rules and real competition.

Behind the project is Ovidiu Slimac, an engineer with more than 20 years of experience in public procurement. He is an accredited public procurement expert and trainer, and teaches a public procurement course at Spiru Haret University. His expertise covers FIDIC contracts and internationally financed projects, including training with the World Bank / IDI in Washington, as well as the sustainability requirements of the European Green Deal.

Ovidiu is Secretary General of ROVEST and an Ambassador of SPPP. He has written about procurement since the early years of this blog and has closely followed legislative changes, digitalisation through SEAP/SICAP and new tools, including the use of artificial intelligence in bid preparation.

We work both with economic operators who want to submit winning bids and with contracting authorities who want well-built procedures. We like to explain, not just to solve: every client leaves with a better understanding of the process.

Correct Procurement currently operates on the expertise of Ovidiu Slimac as a private individual. A limited liability company (SRL) is being set up.
